Sarnia Police Service

The Mission of the Sarnia Police Service is to provide a safe and secure community by working with the people in a sensitive and professional manner.

Police Association of Ontario

Founded in 1933, the Police Association of Ontario (PAO) is the official voice and representative body for Ontario's front-line police personnel, and provides representation, resource and support for 58 police associations. Our membership is comprised of over 33,000 police and civilian members of police services.

Police Pensioners of Ontario

The Police Pensioners Association of Ontario was founded in 1997, by a group of retired police personnel dedicated to promoting the overall quality of life for municipal police pensioners in Ontario. PPAO membership includes retired police personnel from all police ranks and classifications, their surviving spouses, and is available through local police pensioners associations or through individual memberships.

From its early years, the PPAO has continued to grow and strengthen, and we remain dedicated to our most important founding principle that all police pensioners have the opportunity to enjoy the highest possible standard of living in their post employment years.

Canadian Police Association

The Canadian Police Association (CPA) is the national voice for 41,000 police personnel across Canada. Membership includes police personnel serving in 160 police services across Canada, from Canada's smallest towns and villages as well as those working in our largest municipal and provincial police services, and members of the RCMP, railway police, and first nations' police personnel.

The City of Sarnia is a municipality of approximately 70,000 people situated on the south shore of Lake Huron at the headwaters of the St. Clair River. The city is noted for its breathtaking sky blue water and beautiful waterfront parks. Although we are a small city in size, we offer big city amenities to our visitors. The Ontario Police Memorial Foundation

The Ontario Police Memorial was created to honour those police officers in the Province of Ontario who lost their lives in the line of duty. The names of all known fallen officers are inscribed upon the Wall of Honour.

The Memorial was officially unveiled and dedicated on May 7, 2000, by her Honour Hilary Weston, Lieutenant Governor, and the Honourable Michael Harris, Premier of Ontario.
